Alexander Hexington, Lex Hex. I’ve given him a green trench coat with a large hood to hide his face and make him look more mysterious. I wanted to give an example of a transformation, which differs from a normal Omnitrix transformation in that there’s no big flash of light, rather his body physically morphs into the aliens physiology within seconds, any clothing or machinery for a transformation is assembled from mycelium-like fibers. The Hexamatrix itself is absorbed into the bloodstream and reassembles in the desired location. During a transformation, his veins may glow with excess energy. If the Hexamatrix is timed out or “upset” it will be largely useless, though Lex doesn’t necessarily need it. The years he spent in the wilderness greatly improved his strength and endurance, and so much time away from people has made him almost feral, utilizing a brutal and animalistic fighting style.Related content

I couldn’t get into the reboot. The art style killed me, plus I wasn’t a huge fan of all the Omni-kix and Omni-Enhanced nonsense. It seems like the network is lumping Ben 10 together with all those other unnecessary reboots, like Scooby doo and Thundercats.

His favorite things are animals, quiet walks through nature, cannabis and beating the shit out of bad people. His least favorite things are crowds, politics, technology and talking about his feelings. Coffee and Frosted Animal Crackers are his weakness, he absolutely can’t resist them. He can’t stand Pop music, he’s more of a Rock guy. His biggest fear is that people will find out just how sensitive he really is, or that one of his enemies will hurt someone he loves.

They can be, some are more painful than others, there can also be a lot of mental strain involved. He’s gotten used to it over time, but it can still be overwhelming. Mental health struggles play a huge roll in his story.

Some transformations don’t feel pain at all, some transform fairly easily and are more weird feeling than painful. Some, like Nuckleaver or Phosphyre are exceedingly painful, Lex must feel all the pain Nuckleaver feels naturally, or the pain of burning and exploding when transforming into Phosphyre. Also, transformations that are really big result in severe growing pains. He can also be overwhelmed by the sudden onset of mental abilities, like with Telephant or Shaper, or mental illness that accompanies some forms. As he’s gotten older though, he’s gotten somewhat used to it.

Definitely, with a pinch of Batman thrown in. To the outside world, he’s an urban legend. Many don’t think he’s real until he slithers out of the shadows.
