ShockanBusta is a DNA sample of a Duodynamos, a race of largely mechanical beings from the fallen industrial planet, Caklanka, the original home world of the Thermotons (Expollutioner’s species). ShockanBusta’s body looks like polished brass accented by bits of silver, but is neither brass nor silver. Likely an alloy unique to Caklanka, the Hexamatrix dial is imbedded in his waist. ShockanBusta speak with a German accent.

This transformation is a bit two-faced, literally. ShockanBusta has a rotating head with two faces, each with a unique personality. This is due to the limitations of the species, their mechanical components are overwhelmed by an intact range of emotions, so they’ve evolved to compartmentalize their emotions into both faces. Busta has a flare for the dramatic and has a very energetic or “fiery” personality, reflected by this face possessing fire abilities. Busta can generate blasts of flame and project fireballs, it’s possible he can also propel himself using concentrated blasts. The other face, Shock, is more stern and cold taking everything very seriously. This is reflected by this face possessing ice abilities. Shock can exude supercooled liquid Oxygen allowing him to freeze objects, he can also generate a freezing blast and launch ice spikes.
ShockanBusta both possess enhanced strength on par with a Pyronite or Petrosapien, as well as great durability due to their strong metal exoskeleton.

Where the Duodynamos fit into Caklankan society is unclear, as the state of affairs on Caklanka has become dark and uncertain since the civil war that drove the Thermotons to flee. It’s likely that the Duodynamos were the ordinary citizens of Caklanka, possibly occupying a social class that made them unable to leave their homes. With the shift of power and multitude of abandoned cities, the Duodynamos have begun to rebuild Caklanka in their image. Though, without the mechanical expertise of the Thermotons, it will be an uphill battle. The Duodynamos are looked upon by outsiders with a wary eye, as many perceive their compartmentalized nature to be some form of mental illness, like Dissociative Identity Disorder. However, this is a completely natural trait that they all evolved over time. Lex Hex initially struggled with ShockanBusta for this reason, as their emotions function very differently than those of Humans, it took quite a lot of time and practice to be able to understanding them.

As for weaknesses, ShockanBusta was difficult to control when they were first unlocked, as Lex didn’t have enough emotional control to keep them stable. It nearly drove him insane, but over time he came to understand them. Busta’s fire abilities aren’t as powerful as Phosphyre’s, and Shock’s ice abilities aren’t nearly as powerful as Kathoom’s. If Lex’s emotions get out of hand, the faces will change erratically and their abilities will go haywire.

ShockanBusta is in part inspired by the Sock & Buskin theater masks, the happy and sad masks found in old school theaters. His design is inspired by the Transformer called Blitzwing who has similar rotating faces.
