Plenty of trans have dealt with this, myself inclded and it sucks for a whole lot of reasons, but for me, it’s because we’re a sideshow attraction to them that really gets to me.

I haven't advanced enough in my transition to live this myself (this scene happened pre transition). But I have even seen a friend joke about this. About he wouldn't mind to "experiment". He didn't know I'm trans, but I feel it was a good indication about him anyway.
