I wasn't surprised new Alliance race for WoW was the Draenei, but I was surprized they were the same race as the Eredar. (The same race as Archimonde from Warcraft III. Although the Warcraft lore was changed slighty to allow this) I made this in flash because I really liked the look... and I had some time to waste at my parent's house one weekend.Draenei were the first Palidans, so I gave him golden armor. Looks a little like a Protoss, no?

Well, that's an interesting and well designed take on the race, I can tell you that. It's very well-balanced and the colours go nicely together. Simple, yet effective.

The twist is the old dance, they have a new one now. I didn't recognize the female one (someone said it it was form Pulp Fiction but I'm not sure), but the male Blood Elf does the dance form Napoleon Dynamite. I personly think the Blood Elves are a great choice for Horde, and is a very good fit.

Ah, well if they changed the dance, that's cool by me ... I look forward to seeing it. I guess it just seems a but uncreative to make another elf race, but then again, I'm not into the storyline or "lore" of WoW stuff, probably something I'm missing in there.

Yeah the Blood Elves are a huge part of the Warcraft story, they've been around since Warcraft II, and lore-wise they've bene around forever. They're related to Night Elves who were banished to the Eastern Kingdoms, and they become addicted to magic. There's some stuff on the Burning Crusade site, if you want some more info.

The Draenei look awsome. You love the Line Tool don't you? Anyway, Burning Crusade will feature the Blood Elves too, you could animate that Draenei, it would look cool!

They're probably the Protoss in disguise. Blizzard just had to find a way to put them into WoW, so they stuck a tail on 'em.
