Description
This is the only photo of a small model I made, trying to pitch a lifesize bronze version, to the city of Burkkitsville, Maryland. I thought an actual monument to the fictional myth they had going would help minimize all the destruction being done to their town by wandering fans tearing up their fields and yards looking for the Blair Witch. Unfortunately they declined and this never got made.Related content

Awesome sculpture. That's too bad the Burkitsville people weren't interested in your proposition. The work is wonderful and grabs your attention. As for Elly Kedward, you did a great job for her appearance. It really looks like she is floating.
Did you ever got the chance of sending a photo of your sculpture to the film directors, or to go at one of the conventions where the actors go? Maybe you could offer them a little sculpture of that Blair Witch model. I'm sure they would appreciate it.

At the time I had no idea how to contact anyone involved. All I have now are pictures, the sculpture itself was accidentally destroyed. I've just started going to conventions, so I might just keep a picture in my bag in case I run into anyone from the film. Good idea.

No problem. And you know, as you have detailed photos of the original sculpture, you could, if you want to and if you have the time of course, recreate that wonderful Elly Kedward.
You definitely should because of all the tributes I've seen for the Blair Witch Project, that one really stands out as one of the best I've seen.

I love this and all your work, but there is some truth to the Blair witch. In 1634 the town was named Blair after coloner Blair. In 1785 the township of Blair dragged elly kedward to the middle of the black hills during winter, in 1786 all the children who sayed she was a witch had vanished and the others fled the town.1809 the Blair witch cult was published. Today there is only one copy. In 1820 the town was was sold and became burkittsvill. Years later a girl went missing in a pond that was less then a foot deep. Dozens of people saw it and reported shortly after the pond filled with green slime and stick people. Some other stuff has happened. In the movie they talked about a guy who killed 7 kids he really took 8 and one lived. Sorry I got carried away with facts but I love weird thing like this

Yes, she is floating. In bronze, the closeness of her to the children would have help her up. She must nurture them to call them in, then she must make sacrifice. I am glad you like her. Your english is far better then my french : )
