Description

A quick concept for a fantasy alternative of Ashlyn, specifically from the Eberron setting of Dungeons and Dragons. The idea being that rather than born as a metahuman by human parents in the modern (DC comics) world, she's found by a mixed tribe of Dragonborn, Kobolds and Lizardmen of a Mayincatec sort that worships the sun as a Quatl. Yes, some Warhammer Lizardmen influence is at work there. Instead of being ostricided as looking like a monster, she instead is more ostricided for looking 'too human', due to her Half-Dragon heritage. Still a dex-based Barbarian with a focus on breath attacks and lighting magic though, especially through the UA Aberrant Dragonmark feat. Somehow, I feel like Fantasy!Ash is more happy than DC!Ash, as though ostricided, she is still accepted for the most part, and she gets to spend a lot of energy doing tribal dances and play hip-ball. Who said a barbarian can't have the entertainer background?

I need to rework the details of her subclass though. Lately I've been liking the idea that rather than tearing through things with her raw claws (Path of the Beast subclass), she favors poleaxes like the Bardishe and Halberd whilst still keeping to the idea that she is a Zilla-based Kaiju girl. Maybe when she rages, her anger causes her to just drop all tactics and weapons and just tears into stuff whilst when calm she can still think relatively tactically and use spells like Lighting Lure to drag agressors off caster friends?
