Something I accidently scribbled while practicing sketching molten rock formations.
On a personal note, I think Aboleth conceptually are derived from the creature described in Lovecraft and Greene's The Horror at Martin's Beach. Both are primordial, fish-like (but not entirely so), hideously intelligent and posses hypnotic powers. The Aboleth do appear to be more alien than said creature, though. But that might be due to me knowing more of the Aboleth lore than I do the creature's.
