"For God's love and for the Christian people & our common

this brother of mine Charles, both in aid
& in every thing, thus as one by right
ought to save his brother, In this which he for me
would do the same, and with Lothair any agreement never
shall I take up, which against my wish, this brother of mine
Charles would be at risk,"
