This is for the wonderful whom I very much and is her reward for putting up with a hoard of children.

Explanation of pic-
Allen- 18 years of age
Diery- (pronounced Die-ree)- 120 years (about twenty years if he were a human)

Allen is a human prince who was sold to the prince of the vampires to be a toy and drink. Really what ever the prince pleased. This was done to make sure that the vampires didn't drink the blood of anyone else in the human royal family. Allen was the youngest of the royal family and one of two boys. He's very beautiful and that’s why the vampires wanted him. Only the best for their prince. Well Prince Diery found Allen much to fun to tease for him to kill immediately. Surprisingly quickly Diery fell for Allen but Allen didn't feel the same. The vampire prince wanted the other boy to be happy so released him. Allen was in the castle for months without Diery and felt lonely without him. He confide in one of the servants in the castle named Megan and she backed him up. Unfortunately Allens elder brother overheard the conversation and immediately took to abusing Allen, trying to "snap him out of this nonsense". Diery didn't tell Allen but every so often he would sneak into the blond prince's room and watch him sleep. One day he saw a large bruise on Allen’s cheek and woke the boy. Allen immediately started to cry tears of joy and threw his arms around Diery. Diery flew him out the window to a clearing miles away from either castle and made Allen explain. They stayed like that for several hours and Allen fell asleep in Diery's arms. Diery took him back to his room before morning and came back that night. This became a ritual and slowly Allen came to realize that he loved Diery. This is a picture of the night in the clearing when Allen confessed to Diery.

Bright blue eyes stared down the Vampire prince as he glided gracefully to the center of their clearing, wings moving ever so gently in the slight breeze. This was their nightly ritual. Allen, as usual, was truly amazed at the way the colors around Diery dulled as the moon hit his bare, pail chest. That pail skin… it was so porcelain white, it alone could illuminate their secret spot. Though it wasn’t offensively pail. No, more like an albino white than anything.

“Allen”, the black haired vampire questioned, stretching his leathery wings, not bothering to retract them, “What’s troubling you?”, Deiry asked eyeing the shirtless, peach, very beautiful teen.

The cool, deep voice of the very person the blond prince was studying so intently seemed to snap him out of his own thought. He blinked slowly and walked toward the beautiful, eye catching being in front of him. He stopped mere inches from Deiry, then laid his golden head gently on the other’s pail muscled shoulder.

There was a long pause as Allen contemplated answering his friend at all before he took a deep breath, “Do you ever wonder what it would be like to just be normal people, living a normal life? To not have to worry about who you fall for or what you say? To just smile or frown at your neighbor without dreading the consequences of displeasing a country’s friend?”

Deiry pulled back and looked the now obviously distressed blond prince dead in his deep blue eyes. He nodded before gracefully sitting down and pulling Allen into his lap, so the human’s back rested on his chest.

As Allen adjusted to this new position he sighed and continued, “Maybe I’m just being a spoiled child. Though, what I wouldn’t give to wear jeans like these every day and not those tan slacks and dress shirts. To sit in a hot class room, day dreaming as a teacher droned on tediously, laughing with others my age instead of stuffy old men with nothing more on their mind then their money and their power.

I want to sit with you day in and out without anyone yelling at me for being around the ‘enemy’. I don’t see you as a threat,” Allen whispered, turning himself so he was straddling the vampire, legs on either side of the other’s hips.

Deiry was quite surprised when the human teen turned himself to face him. Normally even the contact they had made just moments before were to much for Allen. The black haired male knew that Allen felt none of the feelings that he felt for the blond prince. Why then, was he acting so friendly now?

“Allen. You know how I feel for you, so please don’t create openings for me. I /will/ take them”, the vampire warned looking the boy once more in the eyes before gently letting his head fall to the deliciously scented, peach chest.

Allen laughed slightly as he rested his head on Deiry’s, “That’s just it… I think I may want you to take them.”

“What are you saying?”

Slender, warm fingers guided the normally emotionless face up to face Allen’s. The human prince paused for a moment before placing a light kiss on Deiry’s lips. Deiry’s breath hitched and red eyes widened in surprise. Where did this side of Allen come from?

The blond teen pulled back and looked into those wide, red eyes, searching. “I’ve decided… I don’t care what will happen to me. I thought about it, Deiry, I thought about the time in your bedroom when you told me that you loved me and wanted me to go home. I thought about the horribly pained expression you made when I told you that I would never return your love. I thought so hard that it hurt… I cried when ever my thoughts wandered to that moment. This is when I realized that the words I spoke then were out of spite and were so cruel”, Allen paused and blinked away tears as they attempted to escape his eyes. “I was wrong, Deiry. I never meant those words. I love you dearly. It just took me very, very long to realize it. I’m sorry Deiry. So, so sorry.”

The black haired vampire stared dazed into the other’s eyes. Two years of visiting Allen in the night and bringing him to this clearing. Two years of watching him fall asleep in his arms. Two years of being content with just being near him. Two years and now this. What he thought was impossible, was now reality.

“Allen…”, he whispered, red eyes searching through blue for any chance that this was just a cruel joke.

Those pink lips just a few shades darker that the boys skin descended upon Diery’s once more lingering for a few seconds before pulling away and forming a smile.

“I love you, Deiry. I truly do.”

The vampire prince let his head fall heavily onto Allen’s chest once more as his shoulder’s began to shake with silent sobs.

The same pink fingers that aided Allen and Diery’s first kiss wound their way into those black locks as the blond prince rested his head once more on the vampires.

“I will always be with you”, Allen whispered, closing his eyes, “I love you Diery. So much.”

“I love you too.”
