Amazing! love it. Especially shades and folds. I FORGIVE YOU TARRLOK pro tip: use the pen tool. the pen tool is your friend. it's literally connect the dots. I can't draw a straight line for my life. best part is, it actually is easier to use pen tool with mouse, just be sure to hold on to the points and drag to get those curved edges you so gloriously want. Hope that helps :U

I feel like I tried too hard and shaded a little over-zealously. But I'm glad you like it! And thank you so much for the tip, I will definitely try that out, because beautiful lines are just not happening for me. D:

Thanks very much! :}
Yeah, I'm adjusting to photoshop, I think I've gotten a little better with the lines (these here are just messy and lumpy), but that suggestion you made there sounds nice! I might try that out just to see how it looks! I certainly appreciate any advice, since I am such a noob at photoshoppin.

LOVE IT! It's so nice to finally see one of your pieces colored! This turned out wonderful and really gives your piece life! Anyway, onto the good stuff!
If you can afford to get a tablet (wacom bamboos are perfect and affordable), that will help immensely with your accuracy with your lines and even your coloring. If you're stuck with a mouse/track pad, your best bet would be to scan in your line work and just retrace it with the brush tool. It will take some practice and time to get the hang of your track pad, but it's doable.
Photoshop is such a great tool when it comes to digital painting, always remember that layers are your friends! If you really struggle with your line work, another thing you can do is really clean up your original sketch and put that layer on multiply (it should be a drop down in your layers block). What this will do is make your sketch transparent to any layer underneath, so you could always add color under those layers and it wont affect your sketch.
Either way, it really depends on your style and sometimes it takes time to figure out what works best, but for your first attempt, this looks really great! Good luck with photoshop and keep practicing!
