You know it reminds me a lot of the Yautja from the Predator series looking at the face. Also, great work mate! Liked the film myself too

It's by the same two sculptors , very much a proto predator
theres also a look of most the creatures from that dodgy Guyver /Mutronics live action film
they were sculpted by Steve wang as well

I'm guessing you mean the first one because he looks a lot like the one with the funny egg bump on his head. I've seen the original anime series which was pretty good

There's another one that looks like a streamlined Gill Man
For some reason , all the monsters in those films are such obvious men in suits
Very well done suits , but , I never think of them as anything else
The Predator on the other hand is very convincing
I think the netting , skulls and armor kind of soften the monster suit aspects

Have you seen the latest pics from the Hellboy reboot
theres a boar monster etc
The make -up on Hellboy is a weird mix of not right and impressive
the face spoils it though
he seems to have zero movement

I have, but only a small snippet of the boar which looks pretty good, it's how I pictured the Swinethings in The House on The Borderland
Didn't know Mila Jovovich was going to be in it.

the pig looks good and more or less how it looks in the comic
I tried to read the story it's based on { The film mixes 3 hellboy stores together!!??}
but it was tedious to be honest
I just can't get into hellboy
I sort of like Milla , she was good in 5th element and the recent rather crappy 3 musketeers

I haven't seen that Musketeers yet, I'll have to give it a look.
I like Mike Mognola's style of drawing, it has a very unique quality you just don't seem much of.

The musketeers movie is worth seeing for the costumes and production design
Milla j , looks very beautiful in her scenes
but ....story wise , it's no fun and there's the strange addition, of a load of added "steam punk" elements { huge airship zeppelin s things!!!???}

I'll admit I like the style of steam punk and it looks cool but I find the idea of introducing it into a world where it isn't supposed to exist a big mistake.

it's not just sort of introduced , it's dominating the whole film
it's like calling the recent mortal engines

I didn't mind most of Mortal Engines, the idea of mobile cities don't make much sense, but it was pretty fun to watch in most parts. But plot wise it still seemed lacking
