I used Prismacolor Premium colored pencils and layered several shades on top of the other.Β  In some areas I used a light Coptic marker to help blend it.

i use the same coloured pencils...maybe its my paper lol

i never tried using markers though. havent got the money to afford those Dx

They do have colored pencil blenders too, or even a clear or white pencil can help smooth them.Β  Try to put a light layer first, then later layers press harder.
