Description
I finished my portrait of Duke for my dear, wonderful friend Val He is the first of a series of Puppy Portraits I will be doing for Val and her hubby Doug. Next I will do Piper, and lastly I will do Jeremiah. She asked me to do these some time ago, and I am honored she has entrusted me with this tribute to her beloved fur babies.This was done with colored pencils.

Oh, Jon, I'm at a loss for words. JJ is not an expert but he does have legitimate academic art training. He says it's exquisite. Trust me - JJ is not easily impressed.
