Well, I'm pretty bad to express myself in English but I'll try my best.

I choosed Shye and Nuvat for this contest featuring the "FIRE" element. Why? I know that Shye should be matched with ice (water) because he's suppossed to be very cold and all, but pairing Nuvat, it doesn't make sense in my opinion. Nuvat has the power to disolve himself into a cloud of smoke (so I automatically identify him with fire, no doubt), so Shye should be the the person that provokes the actual fire, the flames.

That's the reason why I drew both of them in the same "body". They're connected by the fact that they're an actual pairing, so their element should be connected as well. Shye is the one that hurts Nuvat (this fact is represented by the fire in his hand) and Nuvat is the one that suffers the consequences of that (represented by the smoke). It's as simple as:

Fire -> Provocation (Shye)
Smoke -> Consequence/result (Nuvat)

Pfew... I tried.

So, here is it. A different art style from my usual drawings, I know. I used a bunch of things and experimented a lot, but this was the best result I think :-/

I don't know if it happens to you too, but when viewing this picture, I have the feeling that it smells like some singed stuff or something LOL
