Who isn't? The good thing about art though (and at the same time a very depressing thing) is that there is always room for improvement. It's a life-long learning-process. Well at least it never gets boring. xD There is always something to work on!

Never gets boring but can be really frustrating sometime ;v; ... and that's why i love it ! Just seing how much progress you made, even though you loved one piece and now see how ugly it was, is one of the best feeling i know ^-^

Yeah I feel the most frustrating is when you feel like you're blocked or you're not making progress and you're just stuck in one place, so long as you are making progress I think it feels mostly good xD
I am mostly a writer, so I know this too, but from another side. And I always find that it's much easier to get blocked in writing than in art. But maybe this is just due to me being further along in the progress and therefore much more critical in writing than in art...

I used to use art whenever i was stuck in writing something. It worked pretty well
