Description
This is my second OC for a new anime I like called Haikyuu! Her name is Maxine Oikawa, and she's the younger sister of Toru Oikawa. She was remade by my good friend KasA-Arts so give her some credit for the redesign. Hope you like it! ^^

Bio:

Background: Maxine is a first year in Karasuno High School. She is the younger sister of Toru Oikawa, who is known as the great king and is a third year in Aoba Johsai High School. Originally supposed to be a player on the girls volleyball team, she decided to be a manager and work alongside Tsubasa, Kiyoko, and Yachi because she felt insecure about herself due to her height. Because of her love for Yin and Yang, she sometimes likes to wear outfits that show the symbol and even wear the colors of the symbol as well. She was born with a rare disorder that prevents her from showing or feeling any physical emotions and it only grew worse growing up, so now she only describes what mental emotion she is feeling and how and why she feels that emotion.

Appearance: Maxine is a tall girl with a nice and slender build. She also has dark brown hair and light brown eyes, light skin, dark purple glasses (sometimes yellow glasses instead), and is never seen with a smile on her face. She is seen in the girls school uniform when in school but wears a white jacket over her uniform and also wears her purple mini boots with the outfit as well. When managing the boys volleyball team, she wears a white button-up shirt with the Yin-Yang symbol on it with the Karasuno volleyball jacket as well. She also wears her signature black and white sneakers and her dark purple glasses to finish the look. For her casual, she wears a light purple shirt with a darker purple collar and a tan skirt as well. She also wears two purple bracelets on her right and left wrists, her dark purple glasses, and purple mini boots to finish the look. She is sometimes seen wearing the Yin and Yang symbol on a darker purple shirt and a black or white skirt

Personality: Maxine is a very intelligent and open-minded girl. She has no problem listening to her upperclassmen, Coach Ukai, Kiyoko, Tsubasa, Yachi, and anyone else she finds important. She also has a habit of overthinking about a situation she finds herself in and even underestimates Hinata by accident all the time. She likes to speak her mind about several things and even finds volleyball interesting. When Maxine was young, she was constantly bullied by others because of her height and disorder but has learned to get over the bullies and ignore them when they talk to her. Max likes to hang out with Tsubasa, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, and Hinata very often as they are her closest friends, but she can sometimes be seen with Yachi as well when they are cheering Karasuno on and when they discuss their plans about the team.

Relationship(s):

Toru Oikawa: Toru is Maxine's older brother. When they were kids, they had a deep passion for Volleyball and dreamed of going to Nationals and winning one day. They attended the same middle school as Kageyama and played on the volleyball team as well, but when Maxine graduated middle school, she chose to go to Karasuno instead of Aoba Johsai with Toru. The two have big differences about themselves and Max does not like the attention Toru gets and does not wish to be famous because of her brother. Toru likes to annoy the hell out of Max sometimes when they get into an argument, brag about how much attention he's getting, and even tease Max about her boyfriend Yamaguchi. But despite their differences and how much they annoy each other, they care for each other deeply and see each other as great siblings.

Hajime Iwaizumi: Iwaizumi is Max's good friend. They met back in middle school and got along really well. Whenever Max worries about Toru, Iwaizumi always steps in and helps whenever he can. The two are easily annoyed by Toru as well because of his popularity and how he makes the girls fall for him. Max usually likes to call Iwaizumi and ask how Toru is doing whenever she has spare time on her hands. The two are great friends and often see each other as brother and sister sometimes as well.

Tadashi Yamaguchi: Yamaguchi is Maxine's boyfriend and trusted partner. They met back when they were kids. Yamaguchi was being bullied by several kids and Maxine stepped in to stop them, which resulted in her getting bullied next. After Tsukishima outsmarted the bullies, Maxine helped Yamaguchi and the two became good friends. As they grew up together, Yamaguchi started developing feelings for Maxine and this resulted into them starting a relationship in middle school. When the two joined Karasuno, Max started to doubt herself and feel insecure about herself and stayed by Tsukishima and Yamaguchi's side no matter what. One day, Max decided to try joining the girls' volleyball team like how Yamaguchi joined the boys team but found herself quitting when she began to feel that she will be noticed as Oikawa's sister and be picked on a lot because of her height. When she found out that Kiyoko was looking for a new manager for the boys team, Max immediately volunteered to join knowing that she will be able to support Yamaguchi more now. She, along with Yachi, are Karasuno's new managers and are ready for whatever lies ahead of them.

Kei Tsukishima: Tsukishima is Maxine's best friend. They met when she and Yamaguchi were being bullied by other kids. When Tsukishima outsmarts the bullies, Max was inspired and amazed at how Tsukishima was able to brush bullies off him like they were nothing. When the three met again at a volleyball practice, Max and Yamaguchi were amazed at Tsukishima even more and wanted to join a volleyball team as well. Ever since then, the three became great friends. Max didn't go to the same school as Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, but the three promised to go to Karasuno together after middle school. The three are great friends with Max being the leader of the group and keeping Tsukishima and Yamaguchi from getting into fights.

Shoyo Hinata: Hinata is Maxine's friend. They met sometime after Hinata and Kageyama caused some trouble in the volleyball team and were practicing together. Hinata was amazed at how tall Maxine was and asked her to be his friend, to which Maxine was hesitant on. Sometime after thinking about Hinata's offer, she approved of his offer and the two became friends. They like to practice together on their days off and like to even share how their siblings are and what they like to do as well. They are also seen interacting with some of the other players at different schools as well. Max likes to practice a lot with Hinata because she finds him as a great volleyball partner and likes to teach him some new talents as well.

Kōshi Sugawara: Kōshi is Maxine's upper classmen. They met when Max visited the boys team with Yachi. Max was impressed with Koshi's skills and determination and asked him for advice on how to play. Max considers Koshi as her partner rather than her upper classman.

Asahi Azumane- Asahi is Max's upper classman. Max likes to consider Asahi as the more important player on the team and likes to help him in any way possible. She also likes to calm his nerves down by reassuring him things will be ok and he has no reason to panic all the time. Max also likes to give Asahi useful tips about how to be a skilled ace as well.
