Description
This is my artwork for the theater action scene in Matrix 4: Resurecctions. If there is anything I would complain about as a concept artist, it would be that I rarely get the chance to leave the office. For this set I was supposed to take the location photos myself together with the location department. Sometimes it is hard to grasp how many people are actually involved in the making of a film, especially for me. I'm just behind my screen making stuff up and then there hast to be a firefighter, a safety regulations guy and the owner of the theater who have to confirm every detail of my painting, let alone the art department who have to build it and the stunt team who has to actually make it work. The amount of talent coming together to get this thing on screen is astounding.
