I love the perspective, and the way Wolverine gleams with all the pencil shading on him, while everything else is sort of gently drawn it. It's lovely. :]

I really think this piece is beautifully Drawn it caught my eye right away. It looks as though you were playing on the contrast between wolverine and his surroundings but it feels like there is so much dark tonal values in his arms and face that the background gets lost. There is very little dark tone in his surroundings even his legs seem to not fit with how darkly shaded his arms are. Overall the concept of the piece came through well, here is this rough and tumble guy in a moment of solemn peace.

This is so beautiful...Probably the most impressive piece I've seen from you(which is obviously saying a lot)...this is definitely not an easy shot to pull off, and you knocked it out of the park! Plus so much emotion, and great composition...My hats off to you sir!

i love your work it's so crisp. i hear many artists block and lay their work in, then lightly layout the lines, then use a kneaded eraser to get a faint line before drawing in a nice crisp line and finishing it. your images look so crisp and i see no eraser marks. how do you get your work to this kind of finish. is it done post in photoshop? what kind of things do you do before sending it to the inker or colorist? any tips would be great!

How are your pencils so clean? When I adjust the levels on mine, I see so many smudges show up? What kind of pencils do you use?

I sketch on a separate paper... in this case digital. print it out and lightbox it.
I use mechanical pencil .5 leads ranging from hb,f to 2h. it also depends on the paper you use and the weather/humidity.
