A new headcanon of mine; Alfred rarely shuts up or stays still for anything, but whenever Toris visits to read him stories he stops right in his tracks no matter what he's doing and drags the Lithuanian into his living room to have him read out loud in the same couch where Arthur used to tell him stories. It doesn't matter if it's a fairytale, a newspaper or history book, Alfred simply enjoy listening to Toris soothing voice since it's one of the few things that can make him truly relax. The storytelling doesn't end until Alfred eventually fall asleep which can take up to nine hours depending on his current state. Sometimes Toris fall asleep before Alfred does, in which case the American makes him a cup of coffee, begging him to continue reading for 'just five more minutes'.
