...when I say my wings are the only perfectly white pair out there.

Well you see,
as you might already know, angels normally don't bleed, not like living beings do anyway,
our vessels can bleed and die, yes, but that doesn't affect Us.
However, when an angel gets tossed out of heaven, their wings will either shatter, break or get ripped right out of their very sockets,
whatever they do, harm is pretty much inevitable, painfully enough.
The damage then depends on exactly how they fall,
and when this all happens, broken wings and what not,
their grace will start leaking, healing the damaged areas, replacing lost feathers and bones with new ones.
The nice twist though is that an angel grace will and can never change colour, so the healed parts will forever glow white.
Now you might just believe me?

In a Lucifer mood now it seems x) Random headcanon that I actually might stick with~
