This is The Serpent, in color. I'm proud of this. I have this vice with always using the smudge tool in the gimp, and I didn't for once.Go me!
The story behind the picture:
The devil has fallen to an angel, who is not quite as angelic as one would like. She has fallen to the sea, to be spared by the enemy of her enemy, the Sea Serpent. Who, or what the serpent is, no one truly knows, but blood now binds them, as they lurke above the waves of the ocean... a lone feather the only sign of their heavenly foe.

Nice drawing. Her head seems to be a little big for the rest of her though, I do like the idea and the coils of the serpent, I have seen much much worse... (usually my stuff)

Nice work coloring it...it really brings it to life. But...why is it so small? And why is the bottom half transparent?

Wow, I love the colors as well! Very refreshing and varied. I like the intensity of the reds, teals, and yellows.
I'm not a drawing person so I don't really know how to critique it, let alone look for whatever I'm supposed to look for, so all I'll say is that it's cool and that I like it!
