I find it rather odd about all the kvetching over Equestria Girls from the brony/pegasister community. Β Ever since the fandom began there have been fanfictions, fanart, etc. depicting the MLP:FiM cast as humans, and suddenly it's a "Jump the shark" moment because the studio did a TV movie depicting the crew as humans? Β Sorry, but I just don't buy it. Β Who was it who said "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"?
To be sure, Equestria Girls isn't a perfect movie. Β The girls are all a little too thin for my taste, and Sunset Shimmer's redemption at the end seemed a little too Care Bear-ish for my taste. Β That said, I loved the songs and Spike makes a really cute dog.

Same but there was OVER 101 ISSUES in the movie. Things that totally didn't match the movie, things that were wrong, as in we're missing, etc.
