Description
This started out as one idea, then turned into something completely different from what I originally conceived. I don't know how the hell I got here. I don't think I'll be going any further with this, but I still kinda liked how the sketch came out.

So anyway, about the game - I've gone through it twice now, and started over for a third time in Hypermode - and after such a thorough examination, I think I can safely say that the most intriguing aspects of the entire game to me are the little nuances - namely, watching as Samus becomes more and more corrupted through her reflection in the Scan Visor.

It happens so discreetly, that you don't really notice it at first (I think the first time I noticed the change was when I collected the Hyper Ball the first time though) until at some point you're up against a black wall in Scan Mode and all of a sudden - WTF? You can see all these lines of phazon running down her face, and her eyes begin to glaze over with cataract-esque phazon... and it gets progressively worse and worse. I found that to be a very interesting and sublime way of introducing her corruption. It was really eery the first time I noticed it, and it kept me thinking about it. I thought it was just the neatest detail in a video game I've ever seen (besides the gory yet somehow delightful details of the Oddworld series).
