Very nice...I love the blowing leaves, and the custom lantern. One question though, is it inspired by one of the songs "Forever Autumn", and if so, which one?

The drawind itself is not inspired by any song. The name however is inspired by Lake of Tears song.

Well thanks for you for mentioning the other one...I think I heard it before, because of someone else's "Forever Autumn" piece of art.....although it may have been another artist (a cover, perhaps?) "Lithium" and "Heartbreaker" are also cases where there's at least two songs sharing the same title!

the detail in this drawing is fantastic! there's so much to look at! the concept is a very interesting take on personifying the seasons. do you like vivaldi? i'm very keen on the four seasons. just free associating here. hahaha!

that's great! vivaldi makes me feel so good. i had been familar with the four seasons since i was very young, but then in college my roommate ha a cd that was called "viva vivaldi" which i thought was a hilarious title and ended up listening to it all the time and then i started discovering more of what he composed on my own.
i saw a drawing someone did about a character in "turandot" and i started thinking about operas as inspirations for art. i love madame butterfly and that's such a vivid image i've got some good ideas for a painting representing that (in a fairly abstract way).

I just love the spectacle of the leaves flying out from the face, and the lantern design is gorgeous!
The whole picture definitely lends itself to the darkness of autumn.
