Lovely picture - I imagine acrylics would not be an easy medium. This puts me in a holiday mood - but I have to wait till September now.

Yes it's great to try something new and gradually improve tho I must say it looks good to me. Thing is we are our own strongest critics.

I struggle with acrylics too, hard to blend smoothly...and to get it just right ! But you must not give up!!! neither do I!!
It might go better with a drying retarder, but I did not try it out yet! oil paint goes better but I think I am a bit allergic to the smell and get a splitting headache each time!
This is pretty good though!

I do have water mixable oils of 'cobra' , not bad but different in using them. I guess it must become a habbit to work with these or acrylics!
