Frankly, I'm not in love with this piece, but it was more fun to work on than any model pose yet (due mostly in part to our wonderful teacher who made it mandatory to swap out the model's heads for animal heads). This is when I started tentatively to enjoy painting. Watercolor & gloss medium.Related content

This is one of the most strange and compelling pieces I've stumbled upon, really. It looks just natural, as if such beings actually exist and wear these clothes, and stand in exactly the same manner posing for you ...

Great colors and textures...that quail is rocking that giant ruffly sleeve. And do I see tiny wildflowers? Everything about this is happy.
