Perspective study + painting exercise~
I'm generally not that good at this painty style so I figured I should do a little exercise! I'm really proud of that angle, it was difficult to get it right, and the way I made the water, it looks very nice in my opinion :>

A Sharkie can be found in saltwater (that's why they can be so salty), and are often tamed by mermaids. They swim around with their owners, but are not very fast, due to their short legs, which are not very suitable for swimming, they are just for steering, while their big fin does all the work.

Mermaids often walk their pets outside of water(if a mermaid's skin gets dry, her fin transforms into legs), where they can run fast, in a cute and clumsy way~ if their owners throw shells for them, they will happily return it to them and make a big smile; they are really proud of every accomplishment they make
