Description Yay new doodle!

This was something experimented a bit too much on. I wanted to work with textures, and I sorta got that... You should've seen the original image before I added the textures. Some may think this is too much...

It's very um... maybe surreal, whatever.

The lineart of this drawing was fun to do. Coloring it wasn't that hard. It sorta blend in well together.

I mostly worked on the bg and as I mentioned before, got carried away, sorry ^^lll

That's what I was thinking basically DD

That and the fact that i'm so indecisive that i tend to hop from one idea to the next

I really like the effect of the texture and acompanying quote. very dreamy X3

(if you are up for small critique.. the legs could be closer together... but that's a detail )

XDDDD Yeah I have that problem too! >.< especially when they are wearing skirts... I've started drawing people nekid before adding clothes overtop to prevent that XP though that can be embarrassing at times when people look over my shoulder and see naked people XDDD

ha ha ha yeah people call me a perv for drawing naked woman, and im like "IM NOT DONE YET!"

I also draw them naked and stuff, but then you know sometimes you do last minute redos and everything goes weird XP

Ha ha ha it's weird sometimes

hahahhahaah I say the exact same thing!!!!! XDDDDD

Yeah I see what you mean
like once you put the clothes on you think *this would look better if the person was in this other position* and then it ends up a little wonkey...

wow! me too!
I love artists like Mucha, Klimt, Da Vinci and Steinlen... for the moment!
We have a lot to learn from them not only like artist besides like persons

lemontree11 In reply to Rakiura [2008-11-27 18:32:49 +0000 UTC]

yeah totally!
I love flemish art. It gives it this bare naked feel

Also Michelangelo because compared to the other great artist of his time he was the nices and softest of them all

Da Vinci is great too but I just wish he would finish his works TT3TT
He has so little available and experimented way too much that many of his pieces are beyond repair

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rakiura In reply to lemontree11 [2008-11-27 19:25:34 +0000 UTC]

Flemish art its also so passional! In a soft and elegant way
(AAGG MY ENGLISH SUCKS sorry about that)

It looks like we have many things in common in art matters

About Da Vinci... another bad thing is that hs masterpieces are SO little!
You see them in movies like big paints, but actually there are small!
T.T poor Da Vinci, but I still love him

lemontree11 In reply to Rakiura [2008-11-27 22:17:27 +0000 UTC]

I think the only actual big one is the last supper and it's not like he used tempera wholely. From what my prof said he experimented with the paint and that's why it's like falling apart.

It's such a great piece though. It pissed me off when Dan Brown made him seem like he was part of a group that he really wasn't in!

Da Vinci Code is such fiction!
I read it and I like it, but some people doesn't make any difference between fitcion and reality... that's a problem, 'cause now I've heard some people say that IS ACTUALLY TRUE! WHEN IT ISN'T!

.....

Actually I think that it is not completely his fault... i'ts people's fault who misundertood the meaning of fiction too, and took this book like some kind of true.

Anyways he pissed me off too 'cause he washed some brains

I'm sure it was a great FICTION book but for the author to convince himself is just crazy.

Well Jedi is a religion O_O so go figure :/

Well, I use to never really wear dresses with jeans, but this semester I've been doing it more and more with formal dresses. I think it's such a shame to just keep them in the closet unless a special even arises.

I thought, why not for lolita dresses as well <3

It's not exactly lolita all together, but at least the dress can be used more

I wanted to use lolita dresses in a casual way. Like not just wear them to meet ups and stuff.

If I had this dress I'd wear it like this just for any reason at all ;D

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SweetOnigiri In reply to lemontree11 [2008-12-06 17:18:30 +0000 UTC]

yeah, I don't like that too, I mean lolita lovers spend allot of money just to get a outfit and spend their time wearing it about two times a year or three,

it's a bit silly when they abide rules about the fashion to be worn in a certain way, I mean isn't the style open to anything? even trousers?
it can still be adorable and cute at the same time, instead of feeling paranoid about what other people are thinking about the way lolita's are dressed,
it's always best to feel comfortable and happy the way your dressed in my opinion

Awww thanks.

Yeah That's probably why I don't post on EGL in terms of what I wear unless its on my own journal.

People there just seem to find an argument to anything....
although it did seem to tone down a bit...

maybe those girls went on hiatus
