Personality Serious, concentrated, and very serious at work, school, and martial arts. Competitive, flirty, and somewhat pervy only towards Ayana. He tests his limits as much as he can in order to grow stronger, and believes that hard work always pays off, and when given a task, you should never whine and complain about it. Because he is the rival of Ayana Minomoshi, he often finds himself in awe at her skill for such a lazy person. Not only that, but the bit off attraction he has for her causes him to reveal a nature that is new to himself.

LikesHard work, exercising, martial arts, challenges, sweet foods ((Usually as a reward to himself)), sparring, kendo, tea, healthy foods, meditation, pushing his limits, and annoying Ayana enough to get her to spar.

Dislikes Whiners and complainers, the easy way, junk foods, losing to Ayana, losing concentration, easy work.

Fighting Styles Hapkido, Judo, and Mantis.
Excels in speed, defense, and attack, but can often lose concentration if distracted by even the slightest bit.

Bio Wen Xue grew up in a family that was always hardworking. No one whined, no one complained, and no one cried. As a child, Wen trained in the martial arts at a very young age. Much like Ayana, he was trained by his family, but he was a student at another dojo to learn things he could not from his family.

He lived in China most of his life until he moved to Japan, where he clashed with Ayana at age 13 and when she was 11. Their rivalry started when she had defeated him in a fight during a tournament. She was disqualified by the way she went out of her way to hurt him, leavings bruises and such, but he felt he lost anyway, and stayed sitting, feeling disgraced for his defeat against a girl who complained about going into the round with him.

But he soon worked it off, and continued working, making sure to break his limitations everyday. As Ayana came to to Japan to visit her relatives again, he would time after time, scorn and confront her about her ways, hoping he could rile her up enough to get her to spar. That time also, he began getting an unexplained affection for her, and sometimes even found himself flirting, but he only guessed it was what any other teenager went through, and rolled with it. As a plus, this new behavior seemed to tick off Ayana more, so he kept with it, hoping to show her up one day.

Rival Story The first time he would face defeat at the hands of a lazy individual would be the only time that would ever happen. It all started 5 years ago at a martial arts tournament that his father had entered him in to show off his skills. There was no disappointment either, Wen Xue worked his way up through the tournament as fast as lightening, taking care of his opponents with hardly any effort at all. Out of the corner of his eye was another dojo, on that was going to get a new owner. They had entered that year in order to at least gain something before the owner left for America to start a new career. Within that side, a small girl could be seen munching on candy, watching the tournament with round red eyes. How she made it this far, he did not know, all he knew was that he was going to win the trophy for his dojo that year, and nothing would stop him from reaching that goal.

When it was high time for his match with the little rabbit girl, all he could hear was her complaining about not wanting to go up because she had enough. But her father refused to let her forfeit, seeing as it was the final match, so he picked her up, placed her on the mat, and went back to his respective area, cheering her on with her grandmother.

They stood there, Wen in his fighting stance while the girl stood there, arms to side, pouting. "So you're going to stand there like that?" he asked, awed at how she wouldn't put up her defenses.

"I didn't wanna fight, I wanted to watch." She seemed to puff her cheeks out more.

"If you're the one representing your dojo, I feel sorry for the sensai that have to deal with you." His look grew more focused.

"And why do you say that?...."

"You obviously have no honor or respect for your dojo or the martial arts. You're a waste of time, hows about I just tap you on the shoulder and get this over eh? I've obviously won anyway."

His words seemed to infuriate the girl however, and rather then pout, she put up her fists, and motioned for him to make the first move.

He charged in, and made the first attack, which she blocked. He tried once more, continue a barrage of attacks while she seemed to take each one full on, blocking here, blocking there, and suddenly out of no where, the palm of her hand reached out, and caught him on the nose, and again to the chest.

She then went on the attack, jabbing and hitting him to the point refs had to pull her away from him.

She was disqualified, bringing him the win, but in terms of fighting, he had lost, sitting there with a couple of bruises and a black eye. He had obviously underestimated his opponent, and this angered him. Once more, he was beaten by a whiny, lazy, 11 year old girl. Knowing that they're probably meet again, he vowed to overcome her, hopefully one day, showing her that hard work and determination would ALWAYS defeat laziness.
