top work mate! the scratchiness is brilliant as well as all the blending. the composition in itself is beautiful, the girl gaze and the natural setting behind her give this such a soothing and peaceful feeling. the colors really compliment each other brilliantly as well.

gabriel. you never cease to amaze me. i love the colours in this one. its increidbly striking , the techniques you come up with are amazingly unique, original and beautiful. i love the textures that push through here andthe background as well. you have such a great eye for shadow, and light which are such important techniques for any medium of art. i would love to see your oil paintings some day. its a great talent to be able to jump from medium to medium like you do. beautiful work/

I totally disagree, the background is beautiful, the whole image looks effectively like it was some kind of old image on that ancient form of art medium - what was it called? Oh yes, paper.
And to faderhead, using 00's instead of o's says very little for your own maturity and intelligence, which in my mind puts you in no position to be ranking on this beautiful piece of work.

The background is just plain bad. It totally distracts from the girl, which also doesnΒ΄t look like brushed but more like a brush filter.
I can see absolutely no relationship between all the cluttering images and the girl and the general image quality looks very n00bish. So no, not a good job here.
