i absolutely adore him.
and yes, i cried when he died in house of wax, so what.
and now hes playing sam winchester.
i read the supernatural books before i watched the show and i have to say that ive never imagined sammy like that. but now i cant imagine him looking any other way.
anyways, bamboo fun & artrage 2.

This is an amazing picture. The first thing that came to mind when i saw this picture was that it looks so much like a Rembrandt self portrait. Truly a beautiful piece.

im from germany so i dont really know if i can explain the work progress in english but ill try. at first i paint the pictures with artrage and try to be as accurate as possible. after i finished painting i open the painting and the reference in photoshop and use the grid (<- i dont know if thats the right english word, hope you know what i mean.) to check in every box if anythings out of place. if somethings wrong i try to correct it and i repeat this step until im satisfied.

please tell me which filter i should use to make the pictures look like that and please tell me why i should upload pictures that i didnt make. i think its rude to report someone on deviantart just because the pictures look 'too perfect' or something like that. how do you know i didnt paint them? there are plenty of people who saw me painting.

Digital painting is NOT that drastically different. Dry brush, film grain, fresco, paint daubs, etc, are all filters you could have used. Maybe even some of each.
Overlays ARE proof. If you actually knew what you were doing and knew how to spot cheap shots, then you'd know that. Draw something without a reference photo and we'll see how the quality stands up then.

yes, because NOONE ever made a digital painting in artrage that wasnt all out of proportion, right?
i just told you that i need a reference and send you pictures which show why i need a reference. i really dont get why you keep telling me i didnt make them. i dont know why i should upload such filtered pictures. but its okay if you dont believe me, i dont see why i should proof anything to you, i dont even know you. if you lived in germany you could come over and watch me paint.
