This is my contribution to a Memorial Project for Jasmine You(1979-2009), the eternal member of the Japanese visual kei-band Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-.
It is made by acrylic color, with details made by decoupage.

Jasmine You, bassist of Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-, passed away on this day (August 9th) 2009. His passing came as a shock to everyone. Today, one year has passed, and I wanted to contribute in commemorating him. This painting was posted to Versailles to be displayed at the Memorial concert held today in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Jasmine You's birthplace.

What I remember most about Jasmine You is his kindness, gentleness, beauty and his smile. I was lucky enough to meet him once, along with he other members of Versailles and of Matenrou Opera, at their signing session after their very first concert in Europe. That was in Stockholm, Sweden on March 30th 2008.

I feel lucky and grateful to have been able to meet him, and to let him know that Versailles' music really give me a lot.

I know that he can feel all the energy, love and grateful feelings we send him, and I want to keep his memory forever.
