Ooh, that's pretty useful! I'me not big on experimenting with palettes myself, but I've always wanted to dabble with more unusual color schemes. Thanks for telling me about this, I'm sure to find some use out of it!
I can see why you'd enjoy coloring the hair and eyes! They're such big features of characters. and even when styles and shapes are similar, color can really add our own personal touch.

Definitely, and they can really make or break a drawing. Sometimes the character will look completely different if you don't get the eyes or hair right. Even though I love drawing eyes and hair, I've had that exact issue on multiple occasions. I've also noticed that if you do all of the features on a character except their hair, they often look very wrong, but once you add the hair everything is fine. It's funny how that works.

That's a really cute profile to work with! I don't usually think of purple and brown as natural color combinations, but here they both give off a sense of something natural and mystic at the same time. I've always liked how you colored the hair of your characters, with the strands visible and soft highlights and shadows. Overall, great pic and wonderful details!

Thanks! I had a bit of help from an online color generator since I'm so indecisive with choosing colors, and don't have a very good grasp of color theory. Despite being random, the generator seems to like recommending purples and browns to me for some reason. I'm really glad you like the hair! There's something about coloring hair and eyes I find so fun and relaxing. Getting they eye shape and hairstyle down when sketching can be frustrating to me at times, but I can't think of a single time where I've found coloring hair and eyes to be an annoyance.
