I haven't seen Steven Universe, mostly because I don't watch the TV (and because we also don't have the channel either). x3
Hmm... why don't you run through with GIMP or Photoshop, using the Curve Tool? That's what I do to bring out more colors/contrast with my scanned artwork and I make use of a cheap printer/scanner device. Here's my "try" at getting it close to the colors you had. Obviously, this looks super bright simply because the background is "pure" white, which isn't a natural occurrence.

You can watch it oline ;D
I always watch the new episodes online, cause here in my country we only got the first season dubbed :'D but I am watching it on TV too so that it gets all the ratings its needs^^
I played around with settings and stuff before uploading this photo, but I wasn't happy with the results, so I decided to make a proper photo and uploading that one instead x'D

Haha... now it's two people directly suggesting it to me. I guess the show must be a pretty good one. x3 I'll see about it sometime.
It's no problem! Sharing techniques helps make better artists in our community. ^__^ Tbh, I don't see the reason why people keep their techniques to themselves.
Let's see if this is the winner.

Here, I just took your camera image, adjusted the perspective using the perspective tool, and then adjusted the colors with the curve tool. x3 Your scanner might not be able to get in very many colors, it seems. I guess it must be the bulb or something, idk. One thing I also noticed is that you exported the scan as a JPEG when it is best to export to PNG (which is lossless), edit till satisfied, then make it JPEG.

You can watch Steven Universe online for free hereΒ kisscartoon.me/Cartoon/Steven-β¦ It also has Season 02, the shorts, and many other cartoons on the site. If you're interested in anime, there's also a kiss anime. I do recommend giving Steven Universe a watch though as it is an amazing show with a huge following for good reason!

Okies! I'll see about checking it out. LeniPro also told me about the online thing, so I guess there's a way to watch. Thank you so much for the recommendation. Always helpful to get a few "legit" reasons.
