I'm weird. In FiM, I ship Sparity. However, in EqG, I ship Rarijack! (I also ship FiM Fluttercord and EqG Flutterdash, but that's not really relevant...)

I sorta do the same. Mainly cause Spike is a dog I guess and Rarity is "human". It just don't work and the boundaries of reality are present.Β

Anyone ever notice how arrogant and stuck to their bias anti Sparity blasphemers tend to be? "OMG Spike's a baby dragon and is basically a child and it's nothing more than a childhood crush, and Rarity treats him like a child and often takes advantage of him, stop supporting pedophilia!!!1" What a load of arrogant, biased, half-baked bullshit. Perhaps, in the earlier seasons, there may have been some truth to that. But as the series has progressed, we've seen facts such as that Twilight was only a filly when she hatched him, and also that dragons grow faster mainly through greed than anything, making it likely that Spike is in his early teens and only a few years younger than her at most. Spike may have his childlike behaviors, but he also has pretty big responsibilities, and has matured a lot mentally overall as the series has progressed, acting less like a child and more mature than in the earlier seasons. Besides, I know from firsthand experience in high school that even people in their teens can still act a bit childish or have childlike behaviors. Plus, are we forgetting that Rarity has had her own pointless crushes, most namely Blueblood and Trenderhoof, and will fangirlishly fawn over every other "attractive" stallion in general? With all these facts considered, and the fact that he still retains his crush on her, but is arguably less obsessive about it, says a lot about both his character and the ship's overall potential and likeliness.
Also, I'm beyond sick of having Rarijack shoved down our throats. Isn't it enough that the Rarijack shippers were practically given the ship in Rollercoaster of Friendship? But that's still not enough for them, and they want to try to push for it and look for every remote hint at it they can find in the main/pony universe as well. How about you be you got it in EG, and let us have our Sparity ship as per the main/pony universe? Or are you just that greedy that you just have to have it in both universes, and/or that clingy to your biased, half-baked, forementioned petty anti Sparity claims?
Anti Sparity blasphemers can say what they want, and repeat their overused, half-baked argument all they want, but at the end of the day, they aren't proving a damn thing, and can't change any of the forementioned counter-facts that support the ship!

GREAT picture! The expressions tell a story and the lighting effects are SUPERB!Β The background also REALLY helps you feel what Spike (and possibly Rarity) is feeling right now; really takes you out of the ordinary and into the emotional!Β Great job!

I think that if Season 9 is really to be the last one they could have subtly hinted that Spike and Rarity are a couple now without saying it.

The song stops and instead of "Oh Spike" (and kiss in the cheek) Rarity says nothing gently touching Spike's cheek with a loving expression, then they hug tight and the rest of the cast continues the song without the two. Kinda like this work of yoursΒ A Brighter Future Β !
I think this would have left it ambiguous enough for RarityxSpike fans to say "They are a couple now!" and non RarityxSpike fans to say "No. They were just hugging." What you think?Β Β
