What use is ones art if no one else can use it!! So I decided to make a full-fledged tutorial. This tutorial I made from my Kate Winslet portrait which is available at [link] Actually I enjoyed making it look eye-candy and as you can see im experimenting with digital art. Anyways!!
I have dedicated it to the great Traditional artist *Tunaferit . Most of you reading this comment must be knowing him. He has a great human spirit and is always tying to promote his fellow artists. Because of him ive got a couple of hundred pageviews and quite a number of watches. By this tutorial im also trying to help new artists, so it becomes a proper dedication for him. All hail to Tunaferit.

"i got the easter egg" but the egg was missing steps 9 & 10. it goes from step 8 (of drawing the hair) to step 11 (the auxiliary hairs)...what...OH WHAT...do we do to get there?!?!?!!? very informative tutorial though! appreciated!

thanx for this, I needed help with some things about highlights and shadows... This way is much easier than just drawing the shadows, trying to leave the highlights white, and hoping to get them right...

That's a really wicked tutorial! I was wondering what you use, one pencil throughout or multiple? I'm curious to know which ones did which shading levels, I make bad choices in that myself and end up with a portrait where the pencil destroys the paper. XD Either way, I'll definitely be putting your tutorial to work!

i mostly use one kind of pencil throughout.. im not sure which one.. mostly they vary from 3B to 5B
