Description
As promised, here is the second drawing featuring the rose swordsman. Here, he has returned to claim his blade once more. Lifting it out of the ground shows that he is ready to fight for something that he believes in, but the solemn look spread across his face expresses that he knows that only bad things will come from the use of this sword. That is what I think anyway. I tried to make him appear more mature by drawing him in a slightly different style that would make him look older. I kept the same old clothes to make it still seem as though he is in some way the same person.Related content

I get that a lot, but at the time that I drew him, I was actually playing Star Ocean: Til the End of Time. He looks a lot like the Main Character, Fayt. He wasn't one of my more creative characters, but I have updated him since then.

Ok, I did address this a while ago. I original drew this character a few years back when I was play SO:TET, and although the design is heavily influenced by that, (darn my youthful lack of creativity) they are not the same. However, it has always bugged me, so I am currently updating my character's look.

This one really shows your talent for conveying a story though pose and expression. Have you ever thought of trying comics?

Actually, now that you mention it, I am working on a short story for this and one of my other characters now. I am storyboarding it now. Something might be done soon.

Ahh... a good eye you have. I was playing a lot of SO:TET at the time of this guy's original conception. That did affect his design and that always bugged me.
I did however do a recent update (Not-posted), which has pulled him away from that a bit. I think it is a big improvement!
