Beautiful image, normally the seemingly pointless cropping of the subject by the shot would detract from a shot for me as the viewer. However the vibrant colors and vivid shades of this flower more then make up for it. The lighting and detail is also superb, highlights come in the wonderful hues of yellow that change as your eye runs up the petals. Then add the compositional choice in focus and depth of focus and you have a nicely blurred background with a crisp naturally beautiful subject.
