Delighted you liked the textures - they were created with new coloured pencils I wanted to try out. Faber Castell have come out with a new/reactivated student grade pencil line called Goldfaber: www.gerstaecker.ch/Marken/FABE…
Years ago I used to have a box of watersoluble Goldfabers, but their new line seems much better. They're almost as good as the Polychromos for a lower price. They perform very well and their biggest set of 48 includes a very nice colour range.

They are worth every penny. They are a bit thinner than the Polychromos, but other than that, they do perform almost as well. They might even be a bit softer than the Polychromos.
