After your close call with the unknown, you returned to the council or elders with the information you had gathered. After much debate, they have come to call these beasts, "the Afflicted". What used to be normal Vukaans, now mutated into ferocious and mindless magma breathing beasts, at least, according to theory. How they were mutated though, is still very much a mystery, though rumor spreads of a dark dragon's influence...
Regardless, these large beasts appear only during the howlmoon once each year. In your mind, you are a little more at ease knowing that these beasts were once Vukaans themselves. Perhaps. There is a way to tame them. Only one way to find out!
You have replenished your gear, gathered up the needed materials, or perhaps partnerships, and set out to capture the beast. This wasn't going to be easy. There was a high chance that you would be injured... but you were determined. Capturing the beast would not only allow you more knowledge to the beasts themselves but if you could tame them? Well then, you have quite the force to be reckoned with on your side. Do you plan to set a trap? or perhaps face the Afflicted head-on. Maybe some good ol'fashioned rope and riding. One things for sure, you'd better be ready for a fight!
