Description Chapter 3 - A Party, A Lion and the Wings that Bind.

In the Grand Hall, Leo was almost done preparing for the party. The Food Smelt Great, The Giant Hall was Cleaned from Floor to Celing, and the Guests were only just arriving. Best of all, he knew that his large family would be looking their best, getting everyone to wear their best Formal clothes, mainly comprising of Suit and tie For the Male's and beautiful long simple dresses for the females.

Solomon, on the other hand wasn't so thrilled. He Was Upstairs getting dressed alongside Lea and his Cousins. "I Thought a Party was a place to have fun, not a place to wear some itchy outfit..." Solomon Moaned. "Now Solomon, try to Understand why your father asked you to do this." Said Lea. "It isnt every day that a entire nation gets merged with each other, and your father wants to make the best impression possible. Besides, just look at your cousins, they have to wear almost exactly the same attire as you, and they arn't complaining.

A Resounding "YEAHHHHHHHHHH" Resonated around the room as Solomon looked on. "No Getting out of this one Solomon" said someone. "Uhhh. Fine then. But if anyone laughs, i swear il take these horrid things off. Just feeling the material on my fur is making my skin crawl." said Solomon, just now finishing putting on the attire. Now, Almost Everyone had left the room. As Solomon got to leave, Lea said "Now Solomon, please be on your best behaviour tonight. You Have the equivalent of Two Countries Watching your Every Move, and if anything happens, you will be in Big Trouble. Do i Make Myself Clear?" Said Lea Frowning and Glaring Over him, "Yes yes. Il Be on my Best behaviour Mum." said Solomon while Putting on his best fake smile ever.

"Who Knows, You May even Find a Cute Girl downstairs... " Said Lea, Smirking. Now If Solomon had been drinking right then, his drink would most likely be on the floor right now, overflowing onto the floor, like a waterfall. "Mum, don't say things like that, it's embarrassing. What if someone heard you, i mean, i do have a reputation to uphold you know." said Solomon Blushing slightly.  "Anyway, It Could happen, its my job to prepare you for the unexpected dear." Said Lea, smiling slightly. "Go on, Have a good time. Besides, if someone falls for you or vice versa, they actually may keep you out of trouble."

"Yeah yeah" Said Solomon, as he left the room, and headed downstairs to the Celebration. i Wonder what my mother was thinking, its not like i will find anyone i haven't seen before anyway. Though, i do hope i find someone eventually. I don't want to wind up all alone.

As He finished walking down the stairs, he was amazed. A Good 300 or so people were in the Grand Hall at this point, with a Giant Chandelier Hanging overhead, and Food Spread out On a Giant Table, in the center of the room. It Was hard to believe, that moments ago, he was in this large room on his own. Animals of All Shapes and Sizes, were scattered around the hall, and, from what he could see, it looked like there was a Orchestra with a single microphone set up, ready to play.

He Decided, to do the right thing and introduce himself to as many people as he could. The More people he knows, the More Friend's right? Plus, " I Might even be able to find someone i like. With all these people , i may get lucky. He said hello to both sides, Lionandrian and Panteronian alike, even getting along with some of the ministers from the Panteronian side.

As Solomon was speaking to a Panteronian Baker, His Father, Leo spoke over a microphone system they had set up especially to tonight. "Ladies and Gentlemen. I Now have a special treat for you all. Earlier on today while i was prepairing for this event, i was asked by a nice young lady if she could put on a performance to entertain us, and to celebrate our two great nations combining. She Comes from the Panteronian Side, although she is a lion, and wishes to make a good impression. Now miss, What is your name and age?" "My Name is Celeste. Celeste Altomare. I am of 12 years of age" said the lion timidly.

"And, What will you be singing for us tonight miss Altomare?
"Well, its a piece that i wrote called Pieces of the Sky. I Do Hope you enjoy it."
Solomon at this point, was curious. He Couldn't see through the crowd to see this Celeste, and she had sounded like no other lion he'd heard before. He Quieted down as she started to sing.

"If I follow this path,
perhaps I'll meet you again someday.

When I continue into the distance,
I'll surely long for this place.

I see them faintly
and chase the sky's fragments.

Light and shadow
paint your heart when you run.

Your smiling face
fills me with courage.
With just your careless words,
you'll fly away
on tearful days.
At any time, at any moment...

And the path goes on...

probably... Whenever you lose sight or get lost,
it's not hopeless.

And now, that pain has taught me
about the warmth of your words.

It was not nothing special,
everyday...
through the seasons...
it accompanies us the first time we meet
and the last time we part.

Your smiling face from that time.
As you stood and looked up to the sky,
your shadow grows longer in the sunset.
I continued on until I reached the road.

Take the first step.
It's okay if it's small
because it requires great courage.
If the anxious days are split in half,
give that time to me.

It's your smiling face from that time
that fills me with courage.
With just your careless words,
you'll fly away
on tearful days.
At any time, at any moment...
Firmly hand in hand...

The path goes on,
and binds us together.
"

As the Song finished, silence broke over the crowd. Then, after a few seconds, The Crowd Broke into Thunderous Applause. Solomon, who by this point was entranced by this voice, was trying his hardest to see the lion. He Just had to, and nothing would stop him. As He broke through the crowd, he seen a beautiful petite white lion, with White Fur. "Huh, she has different coloring, like me. What are the odd's of that happening? He thought.

He Went up to her, and said "Hello miss. My Name is Solomon." "She Looked around looking a bit startled, as if she didn't know where the voice had came from. He Stood in front of her, looking at her features, noticing that she had blue eyes, that looked like they had a whitish tint to them. " Im Sorry, said Celeste, Can you come a bit closer. I Cant see anyone unless they are right next to me. I Have Luna Vision,a form of blindness caused due to a eclipse of the moon i saw as a child. All i can see is a bare heat signiture, that helps me to see what animal you are. And in a crowd this big, its kinda hard to see who anyone is..." said the blind young lioness.

Solomon then took a few steps closer, till they were almost standing face to face. "There you go, can you see me a little better now?" He asked with all sincerity in his voice. "Yes, i can see you Solomon." She laughed a little, and then said, Your Signiture isn't like the others. It's Kinda a mix of purple, and orange. This tells me two things. One, you are a lion, a creature of royalty. And Two, your fur color is reversed like mine, which also tells me you are a white lion, now that i think about it. Quite a coincidence, isnt it?" "Yeah, it sure is" said Solomon, blushing slightly. Celeste's face lit up quite quickly, and got just a little closer to Solomon. "It's Amazing, you are the first Animal other than myself that has the same Signiture, it's quite incredible. Always thought that my orange Signiture, was a illness or side effect of my Luna vision. We just have to be friend's now, don't we? said Celeste with a look in her eye that said, Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes! "Yes, Of Course, that sounds great. Heheheh" said Solomon as he thought to himself, "Yeah... Just Friends... sigh."

"Great!" She Then Hugged him, and Solomon, could do nothing, but blush and squirm uncomfortably. "Is something Wrong Solomon? Your Signiture, just turned pink all of a sudden. "Solomon, quickly had to think of something to say, thought "Crap!, She Can tell when i am blushing hard. This makes things hard well doesn't it." "Ah, No Problem, none at all" said Solomon, staring at the ground.

"Ladies, and Gentlemen. May i have your Attention please." "The Surprise i Promised, is just about to begin, so get ready to see something you have never seen before!" Said Leo, over the microphone.

Meanwhile, Elsewhere in the hall, Three Figures, were just about ready to pull off their biggest operation in a long time. The Three, had been prepairing this all night, and it was just about time to start.

"Are you Ready Boys?" Asked the Female Leader, as she finished setting up a device, that was placed just near the staircase to the upper floors." Now Boys, This small device, one of three has a nice effect to it. When the surprise happens, they will let off a invisible gas, made out of a plant extract, that causes extreme Fatigue, and Will most likely knock out everyone present. As soon as it begins, i want you to wear those masks i prepared for you earlier. Not only do they make a great disguise, but they are fashionable as well. Great for the rare Gas bombing.

"But Boss, Why are we doing this again? i just know Wing Has forgotten, yet again, but of course, i wouldnt forget... hehe."
"To Capture the Singer and the young Lion Prince of Course, said the boss." "I Can understand the prince, but why the singer?" "I Like Music as well you know, she may be amusing."

"We Hear and Obey." said the two goons, in unison.

"As everyone got ready for the surprise, Leo then walked over to the lights, and turned them off. "Now, Don't panic. This is Part of the show. Hit It ChiEuro! ChiEuro, then walked over to the stage, stumbling slightly on the way there. After he got there, he said, "You Know Leo, You could have turned the lights off after i got here. Anyway, please turn your heads to the large glass dome above us.
