I've always thought they are so alike...but when i saw Zuko with this hood
I almost freaked out, screaming "look it's Anakin!!"
isn't it awesome???

The most evident difference (just from looking at this) is that Zuko is hot

And they were both burned. However Anakin got his arm and legs chopped off by Obi Wan and was left in the planet Mufustar to burn until Darth Sidious saved him.

I agree. Zuko is ATLA's answer to Anakin. However unlike Anakin, who became Darth Vader in Episode III and redeemed himself in Episode VI, Zuko had a balanced history of good and evil and he finally chose the good side in Book 3.

Xehanort is Palpatine then, but less ugly and more cool(in my opinion)! XD No seriously, if you think about Terra's eyes turning golden into KH2's secret ending, it screams Star Wars reference.
Yet I see the similarities between Zuo and Anakin: both have scars on one of their eyes which are golden in both cases and they were bad guys for some time.

In a way, I think Zuko's story is like a reverse of Anakin's. While Anakin grows up a good boy but then turns to the dark side, Zuko grows up raised in evil, and the after a series of turbulent events, joins the good side.
