I have a question. Whenever I use the magic wand tool it just turns my whole painting blue. I've tried it on every layer I can think of, line art, rough sketch, etc. It never works. What am I doing wrong?

when it's blue, it means it's selected, no worries, just click on a select tool again and you will see that it's blinking, which is totally normal in fact^^

For that ain't make me senses on photoshop it was SAI XD.

So, the part of Shading i suppose its the "Opacity" and not "Fill" right?

I work with opacity so I can balance the shadow tone, instead of having to guess the color that should be used for shading. Sai is awesome as long as your tablet support it. Too bad they just stop making new versions I always wanted to buy the real version Dx

So it was Opacity huh...
still wounder what's that "Fill" thin' on the photoshop i get XD... (one of the 2007, the original one I've was of 97 XD)

But its truth, i plenty notice. 'cause "find the correct color" ain't... was a good idea...

Fill with the bucket after selecting... Anyway Photoshop do a bad job on filling most of the time, with pixelate result and such (or the opposite which sucks balls in hell with a llama).

Wow, I draw almost the same on SAI haha! It's glorious. How long does it usually take you?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

leomon32 In reply to Juacamo [2012-01-01 13:41:32 +0000 UTC]

From 2 to 4 hours, it's still a bit long (for me). I work at 3000x3000 pixels, it's better for details.

Excellent for details, my driver is too low grade for it. Can't wait to get one good enough to handle that.
