Lindir was always one to focus hard on his work, proud at the time and energy he put into each project. Many thought him stuck up, but that wasn't it. He merely worked hard and did his best in hopes of pleasing Lord Elrond; and perhaps, if he were very lucky, winning a praise or two.

This day was no different than any other, Lindir went about his work, focused, unaware of anything else around him. So when a pair of arms wrapped around him he couldn't help but let out a slightly startled squeak, quickly followed by a dark blush when he realized whose arms were holding him still.

His blushed deepened at the whispered praises that tickled his ear, the teasing comments, the secret promises of reward. With a light nervous chuckle he shifted in that embrace.
"My Lord, I am trying to finish my work!" He nearly whined, only to cause those arms to pull him in closer.
"And am I preventing you?" Elrond asked mischievously.
