I was flipping through my sketchbook and found a decently old sketch i have made for a chromastone redesign and decided to finish it. I really like his powers and concept but i feel like the original design just wasn't comparable to any of the original series' aliens design. Due to the horns and the purple and black he has i cant help but think it was inspired by some design elements from evangelion's mecha, and i decided to make it look even more like it because its such a great design.Here are my current commission price for character sets:
3-4 characters (can be redesgined) colored : $50
1-2 characters (can be redesgined) colored : $40
Additional specific background : +$12

Hey I really like your Ben 10 art, and I was wondering if you can help me, I'm making a sonic can game but at the same time I am making a realistic dark and edgy m rated Ben 10 game on the unity game engine, it will have the same story but there will be more to it and with a darker tone, and I was wondering if you can draw the aliens, I want them to look scary like something out of five nights at Freddy 's 4 but still close to the original design, and yes there will be booed and a little gore....So will you help me, please i really want to make this game and your other person I could find...please help me.

Fantastic. I never liked the look of UAF Chromastone, but you managed to make him look even better. The additional horns and inclusion of black throughout his design give him a better combination of colors rather than being mostly purple like his original design was.

Amazing work and knowing Man of Action and Dwayne Mcduffie, the Eva 'alusion' would have been intentional and your chromastone looks amazing. very golemish and very detailed, great work

I agree it does, as i recall another example in ben 10 is in how waybig was heavily inspired by ultraman, the alien's species name even is an obivous nod to tokusatsu"to'kustar", and they look strikingly similar.

Yeah, not only that, Wildwine camouflage was full Zetsu and even konohamaru and friend make a cameo in the christmas episode, that is full anime love, a shame MoA changed that much

Damnn didnt notice the zetsu bit thats really cool. I agree that its really sad MOA has changed so much. I think theyve become too corporate and less passionate about the quality of their work recently.

Yeah, Ben 10(Original), Gen Rex, Monsuno, those showed creativity and show their talent, when they got back marvel, they become so complacent made the bare minimum and now they seems a brand to cash on rather the creative team they use to be...a shame indeed

yes, right now all we can do is anticipate i guess. Ther are some current good western animations though the animators might be outsourced, like avatar, voltron, castlevania.

In the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion (that the artist said directly influenced this redesign) the main character Shinji Ikari is something of a crybaby that has to be goaded by everyone else to start piloting a giant mecha to save the world. Fans started poking fun at this leading to the creation of this meme. It gained popularity among the animation community and has remained a staple ever since. I merely changed the roles of Shinji and his dad to Ben and his grandfather in a hypothetical situation where Ben wouldn't be psyched to turn into scary aliens. Hope that helps.
