Chapter 1

Life Academy

Author's note: everything that is written between [] indicates the actions that the character is carrying, while all that is written between the () indicates what the character is thinking.

It was a sultry morning, one of those days as it seemed that the sun had no mercy for all those people so far away from him, and all those people there was one in particular that seemed to be able to withstand its own, a boy to be precise, that will participate in the biggest change in history;

To get to this guy must reach the Academy of the Keyblade, where they are trained every day boys and girls with the power of the Keyblade designed to protect people and the light after leaving the institution; here, this guy is studying in the hope to become one of the greatest Masters ...

"???" Male Voice -: AAAAAARRGH!! I CAN’T STAND THIS DAMN HEAT ANYMORE!!!:-

A tall gray-haired man about 19 years was screaming loudly and he got the intention to continue, but just as he was about to shout again the voice of a girl anticipated and stopped him.

Female Voice "???" -: Lloyd! You can not go to yell in the middle of the institute, you may be annoying to someone!

A girl about 19 years too, brown hair and very angry at the guy in front, was ready to give the boy a lesson.

Lloyd -: Esther, but how the hell can you stand this heat?!

Esther -: And how can you scream in the middle of a public place?

Lloyd -: I’m not bothering anybody!

Esther -: I remind you that we are in the East Gardens, in case you forgot;

The East Gardens were a pseudo-outdoor reading room, a very quiet place where people in general went to relax or study.

Esther -: And if you look around you will see the dozens of people who turn to us and wondering if you're mad; now, I would be more than happy to confirm their hypotheses, but-

Lloyd -: Tch, okay, okay, I understand. So, what were we talking about?

Esther -: I said, the examination to become the Masters is just around the corner, I think we should

               list again on what we should prepare ourselves : then, the study has been fixed.

Lloyd -: I wish I could forget this week of torture spent on studying ...

Esther -: If you want to do it, do it after exams.

Lloyd -: Actually, the hardest thing was to have a Heartless tuto-

SMACK!

[Unfortunately, the poor Lloyd has seek a book-blow straight to his head from the girl.]

Esther -: Anyway, is not the study that made me worry about all this time, but it is

examination in which we test our hearts, that will be much more difficult.

Lloyd -: [struggling to recover from the blow he had previously taken] I do not think that will be

               as complicated as you think, after all, neither of us has ever come close to

               dark power.

Esther had the feeling that the boy was lying, knew him from a life now, that liemade herwant toask for an explanation, but seeing the boy's face becoming serious, even for a moment, made her pause.

She took a deep breath and finally asked.

Esther - Is there anything that you have to say Lloyd?

The boy turned toward her, smiled and said:

Lloyd -: Oh, right, thanks for helping me with the study, without you I would certainly have

               problems.

Esther -: (I was not referring to that, stupid ...)

After another half hour passed to list the most important arguments for the exams Lloyd stood up saying he had a training session on combat, said it he went away.

The girl had stayed there a while, thinking about what had happened earlier.

Esther -: (What happened to you 3 years ago, Lloyd?).

But we follow the guy who was ready to kick some other companion training.

Unfortunately for him the training area was far away from the East Gardens, then ended up being late, while others had already begun.

There was a guy waiting for him, taller and older of at most 3 or 4 years. He was intent on watching the two boys who were battling in the combat area (which turns out to be simply a piece of land shaped like a circle of about 20 meters surrounded by a fence) and then did not notice that Lloyd had arrived, he noticed him only once Lloyd was really close,

Senior student "???" -: You made it finally, what happened? You were with your girlfriend?

                                    Do you know how I have waited long?

Lloyd - Dante ... pant ... pant ... I told you ... ... one thousand times ... pant ... that Esther is not ...

Dante -: Okay, okay, you're not together. At least I can see you after all this waiting

Lloyd - Dante ... damn bastard ...

Dante -: I know what you're thinking ...

Lloyd -: If so then follow me and just agree to it?

Dante -: You know we get into trouble is not it?

Lloyd -: It’s not the first time.

Dante -: [Sighs]… fine, let's go.

Lloyd -:Alright! Let's find out what concerns this matter.

What will happen? Why all the Masters are coming together so suddenly?

And what happened to Lloyd first 3 years?
