First off, I absolutely love the perspective and angle that the artist took on this. It makes the viewer think yet they don’t realize it and they see something every day from a totally new and different view and I applaud that. An artist makes art that makes people think without thinking about it. They also take something from every day life and make you look for a second longer and realize it’s all in the way we see things that makes them beautiful and magnificent. Not only that, the way the colors change as the perspective changes and it is all merging yet visible at the same time.

I've seen several other paintings you have done in this same vein, a path down a boulevard with lights, trees, and what looks to be a freshly rained upon ground.
This is easily the best of those works I've seen yet. Some details such as the bench and the lights have been sharped up ever so slightly, but it is the perspective that really makes this a special piece.
The angle, looking upward, gives a great view by which you can vividly discern the wet path from the sky and the rest of the piece. The only thing that doesnt quite seem to fit is the chair, not so much in construction, but in color. It stands out too sharply from the rest of the painting and your focus is drawn to it instead of the more impressive features of the painting. A fantastic painting nonetheless.

The depth of contrast...somehow you have made the depths of contrast merge and look natural! Along with the reflection and the perception of being able to walk into this painting... I believe you have touched on something quite beautiful, yet mysterious here!

I'd give anything to be able to paint like this. It's emotional, deep and sort of wet, like rain. Only for me, autumn is less blue, and a little more green!

this is gorgeous! i absolutely love the colors - rich and bright without being too busy. it almost looks like you tried to take a photo, but rain made the world run (the bench still looks solid, making the rest look blurred). I love the effect. I want to take a walk there!

You pictured something, that is present in the night, but people can't see it. But it could be felt. This painting is miraculously capturing it. I love the feeling which it evokes in me.

I'm all about contrasts and this painting does it in a way I've not seen before. I love the streetlights and use of progressively darker colors to accent the differences. The reflection on what I'm assuming is a wet street or footpath only adds to it. I'm adding you to my watch list.

It is stunning, the top portion looks like a mosaic while the bottom looks smooth like water reflecting the top. The areas around the lights are magnificent, you have really conveyed that they are giving off light. The perspective is lower to the ground than one might expect but I think it draws your attention perfectly. And of course the bench, such a simple object that really makes the piece interesting. Without the bench, this piece would be plain and boring but with it, your eyes move around the canvas. Overall it is really beautiful and amazing
