When I look at this painting, I see three storylines about to converge into one. The left painting depicts a grandfather taking his child to school. The middle painting depicts a couple walking through the park on a rainy day. The painting on the right is similar to the painting on the left, except it is a mother commuting to school with her child. I love how the color is juxtaposed between the three, and is once again used to establish the overall tone of the three works. If I could pick out a specific aspect of these paintings, I would praise the visual juxtaposition.
