Here's a series of eight (IKR!) variations based on parameters by 0Encrypted0 , which is based on the 'Triffidium Flowers' parameters [link] by Rowratty . Thanks so much to both of you!

Is the name a reference to the movies about mobile, carnivorous plants called "Triffids" in SciFi movies?

The name comes from Rowratty . I believe it refers to the original novel The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham which I recall reading when I was a teenager, many decades ago.
