From under the covers extended a half dozen silver chains with padded leather cuffs padlocked to the end of each. Yet another chain was stretched tight across the bed, biting into the softness of the mattress. Like the chains at the foot of the bed, they were securely bolted to the sturdy wooden base of the bed. An equal distance from the edges of the bed, two pairs of handcuffs were padlocked to the chain. Closer to each edge, one end of two more sets of handcuffs were locked onto links of the chain with the other cuff ready for its occupant. A final chain was similarly placed along the base of the pillows. Feeding off the chain by each pillow was a short length of chain with a short hook at the end. Attached to the wall at the head of the bed a trio of reading lights were positioned to shine down on the satin pillows.

On each side of the bed, three rods protruded from its base.

Flanking the bed were two nightstands with two lamps. On one was a timer the lamps were connected. A third, heavier cord attached to the timer disappeared under the bed.

Besides the bedding, Julie’s contribution was the red satin catsuits they would wear. Footed, they would have a rear zippered closure. Rings placed on each side of the snug two inch high collars and one in the zipper’s tab providing a means of locking the jumpsuits on each of them. Attached to the chains by the pillows, they will be unable to rise from the pillows. Finally, she used her sewing skills to create three gags.
